Vets in Mid Michigan?

A friend who is trying to care for some feral cats in his rural area apt. has found two small kittens. These kitties are only a few weeks old and too young to survive a harsh Michigan winter out of doors. We have agreed to offer a home to one of the kittens, and are looking for an inexpensive vet to give the kitty a well baby check up and it's first shots. We have a senior citizen cat already and the baby must have a check up before we can expose our established cat to the new one. We have tried animal rescue, but, they are more expensive than our old private vet (who recently moved out of state so we cant use her either)
Any suggestions?
