Tension injection?

Why do i need tablets after i get a jag from Kitten bite
Answers:
If you weren't up to date with your tetanus jabs, then bacteria from a bite that punctures your skin, could cause tetanus.
are you talking about tetnaus?

to prevent any infection. the jab would have been a tetanus injection
The disease is TETANUS, guys.
Hi there.

Tetanus [TET-nus] is a condition that affects the nervous system and causes painful, uncontrolled muscle spasms. People get tetanus when spores of the tetanus bacteria enter the body through an open wound and produce a powerful nerve poison.

Tetanus spores are found throughout the environment, usually in soil, dust, and animal saliva or waste.

Tetanus is preventable through immunization/injection.

Here's a website that describes why tetanus is necessary:

Tetanus another name for this is Lock Jaw x
do you mean tetanus?
I got a deep puncture bite from a shelter cat (entirely my fault, I wasn't being attentive enough). I had intravenous penicillin and then took pills for about ten days.

The effect of penicillin shots are very short-lived and that's why you must continue the treatment with pills to they are all used up.
Tension injection? Do you mean Tetanus shot? And it helps prevent infection.
You need a tetanus injection in case the bacteria clostridium botulinum is in the bite as this could kill you. The tablets are probably antibiotics to prevent other bacterial infections developing. Cats have a lot of bacteria in their saliva so bites can easily get infected.
to stop you getting something really nasty
