I have the stupidest cat in the world! I got it last fall,a boy kitty (who i thought was a girl) When I got her (him) fixed I was told it was a boy! Didn't have any nuts to see! Anyway,I had him for 3 months with no problem, inside cat,after he was fixed,still no problems for a few months. When spring time came,he wanted to go outside all the time and started peeing in the house EVERYWHERE! Inside my dryer,on the bathroom rug,on the new throw rug under the table(we have wood floors) any clothing my kids left on the floor! So I got pissed and threw him outside! Now I let him in to eat,kids play and pet him,he takes a nap and as soon as I see him wondering around sniffing..Out he goes! He drinks way to much water! constant drinking water! and can not see very good.His food is in the same place but he can't find it unless you put his nose in it! But yet he can catch birds and mice! He will go a week or more without peeing in the house and then BOOM! the hole house smells!what do i do?

Geez, all the negativity here. Your asking a legitimate question and in your shoes i think i would put the cat outside as well if i couldnt find a solution.
Maybe i can help, maybe i cant but ill sure try.
1st thing : make sure hes healthy, bring a urine sample to the Vet and explain whats going on IN DETAIL. If he gives you a brush off and says "Oh hes fine" then find a new vet who will investigate the problem. Neutering doesnt always solve the spraying problem but sounds to me like its really excessive and it shouldnt be that bad. Make sure they check and see if the cat has bladder or kidney stones as well.have a dog who has that problem and drinks and pees excessively always outdoors unless like last time she needed surgery.
Have you given any thought to an automated litter box? I wouldnt recommend ANYTHING by littermaid though. They are garbage and break rather quickly (I also have 2 cats along with dogs and the littermaid lasted only 2 months befor breaking) I know its alot of money but i purchased a "Litter Robot" and couldnt be happier. The box is ALWAYS clean and i never have to scoop anything, just dump the tray out when its full, its quiet and no smell either. Though it does resemble Darth Vaders helmet..lol.
Last thing : If he keeps smelling his own scent he will keep peeing there. They make all kinds of fancy smancy odor removers that you can pay tons of money for but the best thing ive found is plain old white vinegar, baking soda and non chlorine bleach (not mixed together of course) I bought an RV a while back and the carpet smelled so bad of urine I thought i would have to replace it from the previous owners cats. I cleaned the carpet first with a vineger/water solution then again with the non chlorine bleach and water solution and still to this day NO SMELL. (of course if you have dark carpet test an area first, i had a light beige color) For spot cleaning I also used baking soda and water paste on the worst areas befor using the carpet cleaner.
Hopefully some of this can help you or someone else. I know that "smell" and how awful it can be.
the best thing to do is make him a permanently outdoor cat. Once they start spraying, they rarely ever stop. The reason he is drinking so much is because he sprays so much. You got him neutered too late and that is why he continues to spray.
My dog is the stupidest animal ever. She goes into the pantry looking for the food that I have fore her, and she closes the door. She doesn't do anything to tell anyone she is in there, either.
About the grrrrr part, my classmate did so bad on an assignment, he got a grrr instead of an F.

ONE SOLUTION THAT WORKED FOR ME WHEN I HAD A MALE CAT THAT DID THAT IS WENT TO THE VET, EXPLAINED THE ISSUE AND HE GAVE ME - HA WAIT - DIDN'T 'GIVE' TO ME BUT HAD TO PURCHASE A 'GLADE PLUG IN STYLE UNIT' IT HAS A CHEMICAL THAT GOES THROUGHOUT THE HOUSE, SOMETHING HUMANS CANT' SMELL - I HAD TO RUN IT FOR 60 DAYS OR SO, AND IT CHANGED THE CATS 'MIND' I SUPPOSE AND DIDN'T HAVE ANOTHER ISSUE. TOO, YOU NEED TO DECIDE IS HE INSIDE OR OUTSIDE ONLY - MOST CATS THAT DO BOTH HAVE A TENDENCY TO SPRAY MORE OFTEN. WHEN YOU GET THIS UNIT FROM THE VET, HAVE THE ENTIRE CARPET CLEANED, AND HEAVILY SO THE SCENT OF HIM AND ANYTHING ELSE IS GONE, THEN PLUG THE DEVICE IN, AND YOU SHOULD BE 'GOLDEN'

You thought it was a girl, and you call the cat stupid? Keep him inside and he won't feel he needs to mark his territory so much.
Please give him away. You don't really want a cat. You're abusing him.

You say your cat has peeing problems and seeing problems.
My advice is take the poor kitty to the vet there may be a medical reason behind his behavior.

When was the last time the cat was taken to the vet? Indoor urination could be a sign of infection.
Also, to clean the odor, go to a large pet store and get an odor neutralizer (not a cover-up) Nature's Miracle (2) is one that has been around for a while. There may be others.

My cat did the same thing and he had a kidney problem he now has to be on special food. He also gets mad when his litter box is not clean. Hes very tempermental. but I love him for it. Sounds like your cat might not be stupid he might be sick. He can catch birds and mice due to sound and smell and sight. maybe something is wrong with one of his sences, and kidneys have him checked out before you jump to any conclusions. Cat piss is the worst smell to get out to. Good luck with that.

You can keep him outside if he really refuses to be potty trained. Just don't have him declawed and make sure he has a warm shelter to curl up in when it gets cold.
Have you tried cleaning his box more frequently? If they feel their box is too dirty they will start to find alternative places. I have to clean my kitty's box daily. Also, I have heard that if you have potted plants in soil from your own yard and another cat has peed in the dirt you used, your cat will want to pee also.
Keep in mind he is just a cat, don't get too angry with him because he can't help that he's not as smart as a human. Don't limit his water, either. They really do need lots of water to live.
There are some herbal remedies which can be effective. But I agree, often when a cat starts to spray in the house, it is hard to get them to stop. Being an outside cat might the answer. Just make sure the cat has a place to get out of the elements if the weather turns bad, that it has access to clean water and food, and that you continue to give it some attention.
I have had some success by confining the cat in the bathroom with the litter box. Once the cat is using the litter box, I let the cat out for a short time to be with the family. The periods of being out with the family get longer and longer if the cat continues to use its box only. If the peeing starts again in the house, the whole "stay in the bathroom" thing starts again.
Please have a heart and give the poor cat to someone who will (1) take him to the vet and (2) love him. You're not qualified to be a pet owner . except for maybe a pet rock.

I'm just a little amazed at how you can be in such AWE of the negative comments you got . re-read what - and how - you originally posted. It wasn't until after you got the negative comments that you provided more details. Even you have to admit that most people who love their pets don't start off with "Stupid Cat!".

If its as bad as you say it is then it sounds like he is just going to have to be an outdoor cat. I feel for ya. I had a cat that also seemed to enjoy spraying the house. One day I was laying on my bed and he jumped up and acted all nice and as though he wanted to cuddle and the next thing I knew he had sprayed my head! Head, pillows, blanket, wall, it seem to go everywhere. Needless to say, he was an outdoor cat after that.
